David Margolis is a retired gastroenterologist living in St. Louis, MO. His stories have appeared in The Canadian Medical Association Journal, JAMA: Internal Medicine, Missouri Medicine, HumorPress.com, and the Baby Boomers Plus 2021 Anthology. He’s published three books of short stories, “Looking Behind,” “Meltdown” and “Tales of Unkosher Souls” which was selected by Kirkus Reviews as a Best Indie Book of 2021. Previously, he published three novels, “The Myth of Dr. Kugelman,” “The Plumber’s Wrench,” and “The Misadventures of Buddy Jones” which won an eLit award for humor and was presented at the Jewish Book Festival of St. Louis.
David has recently completed a play, entitled “Two Goats and a Dog.” This a comedy about the search for the Jewish Messiah. It takes place in a fictitious shetl, circa 1895.
