POSITION

Six Points Theater seeks its first managing director. This new position will oversee business aspects of Six Points Theater with primary focus on operations and finance, marketing, audience engagement and human resources. In collaboration with the producing artistic director and in partnership with the board of directors, the managing director will share the responsibility for establishing and achieving the strategic priorities of Six Points Theater to advance the mission of the organization. Six Points Theater ignites the hearts and minds of people of all cultural backgrounds by producing theater of the highest artistic standards.  Rooted in Jewish content, our work explores differences, illuminates commonalities, and fosters a greater understanding among all people. Our audiences are almost equally Jewish and non-Jewish, and our staff and board of directors reflect diversity of the audience. The managing director will report to the producing artistic director. 

ORGANIZATION

Founded as Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company in 1994, Six Points Theater (SPT) is located in St. Paul, MN, amidst the vibrant Twin Cities cultural arts scene. SPT serves the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul as well as audiences from outstate and beyond. The theater is a point of destination, known for bold new work that looks at life through a Jewish lens with provocative, universal stories. Programming includes a season of productions, event offerings that complement the work onstage, and a new play program launching world premieres. Six Points Theater operates under an SPT agreement with Actors’ Equity Association.

AMERICAN JEWISH THEATRE SEEKS AN INTERN!

POSITION

The American Jewish Theatre seeks an intern (currently unpaid) to help with social media, setting up Facebook and Instagram, and keeping up with the posts, comments and responses, as well as helping with promotion. The hope is that the person in this position will grow with the organization.

ORGANIZATION

THE AMERICAN JEWISH THEATRE is a new company, they have been existence unofficially since the pandemic. Stephanie Liss, a playwright, is the Founder and Artistic Director. The organization has regular ZOOM readings on ALEPH's platform, and JLTV airs the work. 
The organization is now entering a new phase, and has been chosen to be a part of the PLAYGROUND THEATRE 2024 incubator cohort for development of new theatres.    
Things are moving quickly. In addition to the development, they have a season of readings scheduled for ALEPH beginning June 2, airings on JLTV, and a full-length production in the works.
