What Do I Do With All This Heritage?
True stories of Asian Jews as they hold two age-old traditions in their hearts.
Performances with The Braid
May 15 – June 9 | Los Angeles
June 6 & 9 | Live on Zoom
May 18 & 19 | Bay Area
May 12, 2024 - June 9, 2024
The show offers a whimsical and thought-provoking journey into the lives of Asian Jews as they reveal their true stories of struggle and triumph holding two age-old traditions in their hearts. A cast of professional Asian American actors, some of whom are also Jewish, bring to life funny stories of food, heartbreaking stories about feeling alone, and triumphant stories of discovering that having “all this heritage” doesn’t dilute one’s Asian or Jewish identities, but rather strengthens both.
