Robyn Shrater Seeman is a multi-hyphenated theatre artist: playwright-performer-producer. She is the Artistic Director of Artists Circle, an all female performing arts company in the Greater Washington, DC area that provides professional performing arts opportunities for women across all genres. Her passion is to use her unique talents to empower women to reach their full potential.
Robyn has written and performed as a featured storyteller at The Deborah Lerner Gross Jewish Cultural Arts Center, Kehillat Pardes Open Mic, Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts, and Olney Theatre Center’s “Share Your Story” project. Other writing credits include seven years as a columnist for “Capital Schmoozing” at the Washington Jewish Week. She is the host and writer of the Shattering The Single Story podcast, and loves to share her unique blend of writing and performing in her workshops on public speaking, storytellng, and improv.
Recent plays Robyn has penned include the 10-minute play “The Cookbook,” which ranked among the winners of the DMV Q-Fest 2020, "Uri and Ora Light the Menorah," most recently produced at Adventure Theatre MTC and "Living Waters," presented at the Baltimore Playwrights Festival.
Robyn holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Brandeis University.
