Jennie Fahn

Jennie Fahn is a writer, an actor, and a mom. Originally from New York (I’m a Long Island girl), I’m now proud to call Los Angeles my adopted city. My  latest one-woman show, UNDER THE JELLO MOLD, premiered at the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival where it won Best Solo Performance, a Producer’s Encore Award and was named ‘Pick of the Fringe.’ It enjoyed a several-month-long run here in LA, and has been seen in several U.S. cities (if you know of a theatre that is jello-friendly, let me know -- I love sharing it!) That show was born out of my first one-woman show, YOU MUTHA! A ONE-MOTHER SHOW, which ran for two years in Los Angeles and was featured in the 2005 N.Y. Fringe Festival. As for my on-screen life, you may catch me on TV on GAMES PEOPLE PLAY (BET), I'M DYING UP HERE (Showtime), ONE DAY AT A TIME (Netflix), GREY'S ANATOMEY:B-TEAM (ABC.com) and THE MIDDLE (ABC), or on deep-sea dives of HEROES, WITHOUT A TRACE, THE BERNIE MAC SHOW, MY NAME IS EARL, WILL AND GRACE, and BECKER. I'm in the films GLORIA BELL, SPINNING MAN, and LEGEND OF THE MUSE. I've written and directed projects with my husband, including our web-anthology comedy series, 5-STAR WEEKEND, short-films JERRY, and TEA WITH GRANDMA (in which I co-starred with Tippi Hedren, who is lovely) and I wrote and directed the short film, BREAK. I've done a ton of theatre, starting in New York, and then here in Los Angeles. When not doing artsy-stuff, I’m probably spending time with my family: my husband Jonathan, my sons, Harry and Sammy, and our two little mutts.
