Hadar Galron. Born in Golders Green, London, to a Jewish orthodox family, Hadar Galron
immigrated to Israel with her family at the age of 13. She grew up in an orthodox community and left home in order to study theatre. Whilst pursuing a B.A. in Theatre at Tel Aviv University, Hadar began writing and performing professionally.
Today, an award-winning international screenwriter, playwright, actress, comedienne, director and songwriter, Hadar juggles between theatre, tv, cinema and music. Although she writes on a wide range of topics, in different genres, many of Galrons’ most popular works touch gender and religion themes.
Hadar is also a professional lecturer and compere (in Hebrew and English), translator and teacher of dramatic writing in several Drama academies and Universities. Her plays, films and tv series have been officially chosen for numerous National and International festivals. She has given lectures and Masterclass workshops in NY, London and Prague.
