Daniel Tatar

Daniel Tatar brings a dynamic blend of artistic vision and educational leadership to the Alliance for Jewish Theatre Board. He began his career at the acclaimed Steppenwolf Theatre Company and has originated roles in groundbreaking works such as Eric Whitacre’s Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings. His screen credits span This Is Us, Grey’s Anatomy, The Studio (Apple TV+), and I Think You Should Leave (Netflix), reflecting his range across stage and screen.

As co-creator and featured performer with The Company Men, Daniel has toured nationally, from Los Angeles to Jazz at Lincoln Center, reimagining pop music through a theatrical lens. Beyond performance, he currently serves as Interim CEO of The iCenter, the North American hub for Israel education, where he integrates creativity, strategy, and identity-building across Jewish communities. With over 25 years in experiential Jewish education, Daniel brings a unique ability to bridge artistic expression and cultural relevance, deepening the impact of Jewish theatre worldwide.
