Mission Statement
The Central Massachusetts Jewish Theatre Company is a 501c3 nonprofit volunteer organization deeply committed to both Judaism and theatre. Our mission is to present plays based on Jewish life, themes, and values, that entertain, enlighten and educate. Through our productions, audiences of diverse beliefs and backgrounds may explore the uniqueness of Jewish heritage and cultural experiences.  Drama illuminates the human condition and the CMJTC will strive to bring this into focus through the lens of Jewish theatre. The Central Massachusetts Jewish Theatre Company has the following objectives:

1. To keep alive dramatic works of the past, and to promote and present new and contemporary plays which deal with Jewish themes
2. To reach out to all generations of the Jewish community to provide them with an educational opportunity to connect positively with their roots, their ethnicity and their Jewish values
3. To portray, to the non-Jewish community, the unique qualities of the Jewish people, and those values shared by the best of humanity

We accomplish these objectives through educational and entertaining theatre experiences. We expect to be a source of pride for both the Jewish community and the community at large.
