Robin Pullen. Educator/Playwright Robin Pullen’s first production at Chicago Dramatists coincided with her son’s birth! Her Atlanta move propelled the history-driven ”Women of Roswell “ which earned “Best New Play” at the Georgia Theater Conference,’06 Finalist at New York’s American Globe Theater, Kennedy Center participation following a ACT/KCT nomination, and Finalist for the David Mark Cohen National Playwriting competition. Paint!, Marc Chagall’s Colorful Musical Adventure, a National Children’s Theatre Festival winner, was produced at Coral Gables’ Actors’ Playhouse, and is published by Concord Theatrical. Teachers the Musical, recipient of a Metropolitan Atlanta Theater award, and Bullies, the Musical!, which toured schools, are dear to Robin, a teacher of both gifted and special needs students. Her short story, Mysterium Tremendum, won first place in Creative Loafing's annual story competition, and was published in O’Georgia. She participated in New York’s ASCAP Musical Theater Workshop, and DC’s Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive. Robin served on a trio of Atlanta Advisory Boards, and is currently a member of Working Title Playwrights, AJT, and the Dramatists Guild.
