Steve Peterson


Steven Peterson’s new play PARIS TIME will premiere at Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, New York, from January 26 – February 18, 2018. It’s a drama that looks behind the headlines at anti-Semitism in today’s France. Steve’s other full-length plays in recent production include THE ACTUARY at Peninsula Players (Fish Creek, WI), AFFLUENCE at Theatre 40 (Los Angeles), and THE INVASION OF SKOKIE at Chicago Dramatists with revivals by Shpiel Theatre and Theatre Ariel (Philadelphia). His one-act plays have been produced by The Pittsburgh New Works Festival, The Artistic Home, and Step Up Productions. His plays in development have been presented at the new play fests of Cleveland Play House, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Capital Repertory Theatre, Centre Stage, and Theatre Ariel. Steve is a two-time winner of the Julie Harris Playwright Award and a winner of the Dorothy Silver Award. He is a Resident Playwright at Chicago Dramatists, a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, and is represented by the Robert A. Freedman Dramatic Agency of NYC.
