Robyn Shrater Seemann is a multi-hyphenated theatre artist: writer-performer-designer. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Artists Circle (www.artists-circle.com), an all-female performing arts company in the Greater Washington, DC area that breaks down barriers for religious women by providing professional performing arts opportunities for artists across all genres. Her passion is to use her unique talents to empower women to reach their full potential.
Robyn has performed as a featured storyteller at The Deborah Lerner Gross Jewish Cultural Arts Center, Kehillat Pardes Open Mic, Here Happenings for Jewish Women, and Olney Theatre Center’s “Share Your Story” project.
Writing credits include Adventure Theatre’s Q-Fest playwrighting festival, “The Cookbook,” and Jingle In July festival “Uri and Ora Light the Menorah.” Robyn spent seven years as a columnist for “Capital Schmoozing” at the Washington Jewish Week.
Costuming projects include Secondstage at Studio Theatre in Washington, DC, College Light Opera Company in Falmouth, MA, and interning at Baltimore Center Stage.
Robyn holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Brandeis University.
