Les Abromovitz has written fourteen plays with a Jewish theme. His play, THE HOME STRETCH, won first place in the 4th Annual International Jewish Short Play Competition. His dramedy, SEVEN BANANAS (MY MAZEL), has been read at three Jewish play festivals, including the Jewish Writers Roundtable. SEVEN BANANAS won first place in the Little Theatre of Alexandria’s National One-Act Playwriting competition and was produced by the 30 by Ninety Theatre. In the past two years, his short non-Jewish comedies have been produced or read by over a dozen theatre companies.

Les, an attorney, has been the author, editor and ghostwriter of business books for publishers such as McGraw-Hill, John Wiley & Sons, ALM Media, and Dearborn Trade. In addition to his other writing projects, he has authored two books for investment advisers, as well as a legal humor book. Les and his wife, Hedy, split their time between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Boca Raton, Florida.
