Born and raised in The Bronx and taught high school and college English on Long Island (NY) and in Rochester, MI, and, in later years, as a psychologist, did substance abuse therapy in Los Angeles and suburban Detroit.

Full-length comedies, BETTER THAN MONEY, EMPTY SEAT ON THE MONEY TRAIN, and LAST OF THE AZTECS, had staged readings at First Stage, Hollywood, CA, The JET, West Bloomfield, MI, Performance Network, Ann Arbor, MI, Meadow Brook Theatre, Rochester, MI, Lake Worth, FL, Asheville, NC, and a First Reading off-Broadway at The Abingdon Theatre. AZTECS had a six-week production run at The MET Theatre, a 99-seat house, in Hollywood, CA, and a weekend run at The Village Players in Birmingham, MI, as did BETTER THAN MONEY.

One-act play, “Unfinished Business”, a drama, had two off-off-Broadway productions at The American Theatre of Actors.

Short-play comedies, “Merry! Merry!”, “Oh, Brothers!”, “One-on-One”, “Real Love”, “The Couldabeen HAMLET”; “Life-Saving 101”, “Dancing All the Way Home”, “Romance a la Medicare”, “Old Age & Treachery”, “The Wide Divide”, and “What About Us?” had productions at Performance Network in Ann Arbor, MI, The Meadow Brook Theatre in Rochester, MI, The Stormy Weather Players in Croton-on-Hudson, NY, the Edith Mortensen Theatre in Sioux Falls, SD, The Lebanon Community Theatre, in Lebanon, PA, the Rockville Little Theatre in Rockville, MD, Oregon State University, Renaissance Guild, San Antonio, TX, St. Ives Theatre, Cornwall, UK, Universal Theatre in Provincetown, MA, Seventh Stage Productions, Dallas, TX, and staged readings at Lost Playwrights, in Hendersonville, NC, First Stage in Los Angeles, Actors’ Theatre, in Santa Cruz, CA, DRAMA WEST, in Hollywood, CA, Lost Playwrights, in Hendersonville, N.C, and the Drama Department at Ohio State University. “Real Love” is being televised by PATV in Lake Success, NY in Great Neck, NY on September 2014.
