Letter from Jesse Garlick
Hello everyone,
I’m Jesse Garlick, the 2017 Alliance for Jewish Theatre Conference on-the-ground coordinator in Boston. I am so honored to be your local point person and we are really excited about seeing you here in Boston!
Here is a quick update about how things are going here. We are in the process of locking down Boston University Hillel in Kenmore Square as a central location with preferred hotels nearby and various theaters throughout the Boston area.
Also we are currently in talks with several very well known theatre-makers doing great Jewish identity theatre across the U.S., to come and speak. In addition we also have planned an extraordinary list of panels, performances and workshops (add link to blurb about submission) and we will roll those out to you, so please stay tuned for those.
As for me I am an actor, theatre-maker and educator located here in Boston. Besides being an artistic associate for the local theatre company Liars&Believers. I am also the freshman drama teacher at Newton South High School and a faculty member for the ECI department at Boston Ballet.
Hope to see you all here in October!
All the best,
Jesse
