Are you an 18 – 36 year old Theatremaker?

Apply to AJT’s Theatremacher Program for a significantly reduced rate.

The Alliance for Jewish Theatre’s 2020 Virtual Conference is Sunday, October 25 through Tuesday, October 27, 2020. AJT is seeking applicants for its Theatremacher program for artists between 18-36 years old.

In 2014, the Alliance for Jewish Theatre introduced the Theatremachers program, a fellowship for young theatre makers ages 18 – 36 years old. Since that inaugural year, AJT has continued to connect to the theatremakers of the next generation. Each year, AJT accepts between 4 – 8 applicants to participate in the conference and gain membership into AJT.

If you are a theatre artist between 18-36 years old and creating, making, acting, or working on Jewish theatre, we’d love for you to apply. Applicants chosen for the 2020 Theatremacher program will be given an all-access-pass to the 2020 Virtual Conference and a one-year AJT membership for only $18.

Applications open up on Thursday, September 17 and are due by Sunday, October 18, 2020. We highly encourage BIPOC, LGBTQ, and Neuro-Diverse artists to apply. Artists accepted into the 2020 Theatremacher program will be notified on or before Tuesday, October 20. Once accepted, artists should complete the 2020 Virtual Conference Registration form: https://forms.gle/7gEr5aQhJLvJRXAs9
