In Tribute to Elie Wiesel

HONORING ELIE WIESEL (z”l) ON HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY 2017 WITH PLAY READINGS

The NJTF/HTII at UM Miller Center welcomes and invites your participation in the 3rd annual Holocaust Remembrance Day Play Readings to be held on Sunday, 4/23/17, and Monday, 4/24/17, Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah). This year we honor the late Elie Wiesel, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, a great fiction and non-fiction writer and a playwright.

Three scenes he wrote, titled Dialogs, are available to do as a staged reading with Marion Wiesel’s, his wife and translator, and the Elie Wiesel Foundation’s permission.

NJTF will send you Dialogs upon registering with the Holocaust Theatre Archives. Lincoln Center Theater Library in New York and University of Miami Miller Center have already committed to these readings.

Go to njtfoundation.org and find Remembrance Readings to register. You may also choose another play to do as a Holocaust Remembrance Day Reading, and it will also be in honor of Elie and Marion Wiesel.
