Les Abromovitz

Les Abromovitz has written ten plays with a Jewish theme. His play, THE HOME STRETCH, won first place in the 4th Annual International Jewish Short Play Competition. His seriocomedy, SEVEN BANANAS (MY MAZEL), has been read at three Jewish play festivals, including the Jewish Writers Roundtable. SEVEN BANANAS won first place in the Little Theatre of Alexandria’s National One-Act Playwriting competition and was produced in March, 2017, by the 30 by Ninety Theatre. Several of his comedies have been performed in venues across the country and as radio plays.

Les, an attorney, has been the author, editor and ghostwriter of business books for publishers such as McGraw-Hill, John Wiley & Sons, and Dearborn Trade. In addition to his other writing projects, he has authored two books for investment advisers, as well as a legal humor book. Les and his wife, Hedy, split their time between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Boca Raton, Florida.
